ArtemisChat Community Guidelines

These Community Guidelines explain how we expect people to participate on ArtemisChat and how we work to keep conversations respectful, safe, and constructive across languages.
1. Purpose
ArtemisChat connects people from around the world in shared conversations across languages. These Community Guidelines exist to ensure conversations remain respectful, safe, and constructive for everyone.
All users are expected to follow these guidelines when using ArtemisChat.
2. Respectful Communication
Users must engage respectfully with others.
The following behavior is not allowed:
- Harassment or targeted abuse
- Threats or intimidation
- Hate speech or discrimination
- Encouraging violence
- Demeaning individuals or groups
Disagreement and debate are allowed, but personal attacks are not.
3. Authentic Identity
Users must not impersonate individuals, organizations, or public figures in a misleading way.
Accounts created for deception, manipulation, or coordinated abuse may be removed.
Impersonation & Misleading Identity
Users may not impersonate another individual, organization, company, public figure, or Artemis staff member.
Accounts, usernames, profile information, and messages must not falsely represent affiliation with or endorsement by another person, brand, or institution.
Examples of prohibited behavior include:
- Pretending to be a public figure or celebrity
- Pretending to represent a company or brand
- Claiming to be Artemis staff, moderators, or support
- Using usernames intended to mislead others about identity
ArtemisChat reserves the right to remove or modify usernames, suspend accounts, or restrict access where impersonation or misleading identity is detected.
4. Spam and Manipulation
The following activities are prohibited:
- Spam or repetitive posting
- Automated abuse or bot manipulation
- Deceptive links or phishing
- Coordinated misinformation campaigns
5. Public Conversation Responsibility
Public rooms on ArtemisChat are designed for open discussion.
Content posted in public rooms may be visible to other users and visitors.
Users should avoid sharing sensitive personal information in public discussions.
6. Global Community
ArtemisChat connects people from many countries and cultures.
Users agree to respect the laws, rules, and regulations of their own country when using the platform.
ArtemisChat is not responsible for violations of local laws committed by users in their own jurisdictions.
7. Moderation and Enforcement
ArtemisChat may take action to maintain a safe platform.
This may include:
- Removing content
- Limiting features
- Suspending accounts
- Terminating accounts
Moderation decisions are made to protect the community and platform integrity.
8. Reporting Violations
Users who encounter violations of these guidelines should report the issue using the Safety & Reporting page.
Reports help maintain a healthy conversation environment.
